A new update to Secrets of Ulduar brings the usual spell changes, PVP tweaks and bug fixes, but also introduces a new equipment-related feature that was developed to work hand-in-hand with level 40+ dual-specializations.After installing yesterday's 3.1.2 patch, users now have a new Interface Option to enable the Equipment Manager. Once enabled, players can save their character's equips with a name and icon. The icon can be dragged to a buttonbar just like a macro. Among other uses, it's perfect for dual-spec characters who own different gear suited for each spec. The feature was pimped some time ago through developer videos, back when the dual-spec feature was also limited to the testing realm. |
